Oru Kal Oru Kannadi

Hindu Dharma Sakthi, Thambaram, Chennai has moved a writ petition before the Madras high court seeking an order for removal of certain alleged objectionable portions of the movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. he petitioner referred to the movie promos aired on television and said it portrayed a “sanyasi” named Uthukottai Ulagananda, clad in saffron with rudraskhaw malas, in bad light. The background song and the dialogues hurt Hindus sentiments, the petitioner said, adding that the portrayal was unnecessary and not pertinent to the movie script.Justice V.K. Sharma reserved the orders on Monday.
