Akhilesh Yadav is to be sworn as CM on Thursday..

Akhilesh Yadav, son of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, will be the new and the youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is 38 years now.

Addressing a press conference after his election as the leader of the Samajwadi Legislative party, Akhilesh Yadav said,the priority of his Government will be to lead Uttar Pradesh towards progress and to enable the state to catch up with other progressive states of the country. He said all the promises made to the people in the election manifesto will be fufilled. He ruled out his government adopting any vindictive politics.

Born on July 1, 1973, Akhilesh studied at the Military School in Dholpur in Rajasthan and then acquired a degree in Civil Environment Engineering from the Mysore University. He finished Masters in Environmental Engineering from Australia.

Some of the points of success of this young man is pointed out as follows:

1 He has a very clean image and UP is waiting how he is going to maintain that.

2.Apart from traditional back up, he is a learned men using his hi tech studies with Blackberry, and announced tablets for the students shredding the image of the party opposing computers and English
