MDMK boycott Pudukkottai by-polls…

Chennai: Vaiko-led MDMK has decided to boycott the June 12 by-election to the Pudukkottai assembly constituency, alleging that the poll officials in the state were working as “agents” of the ruling AIADMK”The Pudukkottai by-election will witness atrocities taking central stage and the poll officials are functioning as agents of the ruling party,” Mr Vaiko alleged in a statement.

He said that the state government had allocated Rs. 50 crore special package to Pudukkottai municipality and 32 ministers were camping in the constituency.
