Three security officers of DMK chief raided

Three security officers of DMK chief Mr Karunanidhi were raided today on allegations that they caused losses to the Tamilnadu Housing Board in land allotment under discretionary quota method.

A note from the Department of Vigilance and Anti corruption said that DSP Pandian, Inspector Vinothan, Ganesan and others related to them were searched today. The trio had allegedly misused their official position in allotting the plots in Mugappair zone TNHB scheme in 2008 and were allotted two plots each. Cases were filed under different sections including cheating, criminal conspirancy etc

Mr M Karunanidhi has denied any wrong doing.
